This site caters to Chinese exchange students studying at high schools (and even middle schools) in Texas. It has become all the rage amongst wealthy Chinese to begin sending their kids to study in the United States (and other Western countries as well) for high school. Local private schools are able to charge significant fees. However, they normally do not provide accomodation. Further, under American law, minors must have a guardian physically located within the United States who will oversee these young students' affairs while they are living in the US. This business matches up Chinese parents with reliable local hosts. The hosts often provide more than simply a room and meals (although this is the main charge). They also give students an introduction to their local communities, help them make decisions on courses, approve field trips, etc..

By the time they've reached the end of high school, many Chinese students have begun to sort of "take charge" of their own learning. This is precocious, and they're one-up on their western counterparts in this sense. One can hear them in China bragging about a particular "course" that they are or have been able to take. Real bookworms, en masse (and I'm a bit of one myself, so I don't mean it to be derogatory).

Chinese students themselves actually pressure their parents to obtain for them rooms in "nice" homes/houses. I believe this is because wealthy Chinese families in China's large cities tend to reside in apartments not actual homes/houses. While their apartments are "large", and with expensive ammenities and in prime locations, they are still apartments and lack the expansive front and back yards they've seen in in TV series and movies. However, it goes further: they like to reside in nice neighborhoods. Most who can afford to live in safe neighborhoods choose to pay the extra costs.

It's unwise to build a website for Chinese customers that is not fully mobile-optimized. This site is totally mobile-friendly and I encourage you to pull up a browser on your Android or iPhone and have a look.
